"Christian Praise!" is a gathering of Christians in Leicester and Leicestershire, which was founded in 1988 and now fills Leicester's De Montfort Hall for two nights of celebration each year.
At the celebrations, people experience the love of God, the good news of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. They are blessed and refreshed as they join in praise and worship with hundreds of Christians from Leicester and the county.
Having attended every night of "Christian Praise!" for the last sixteen years, I am still overwhelmed by the sheer excitement of the occasion. From its beginning in 1988 in smaller locations it has grown to fill Leicester's De Montfort Hall for two nights of joyful celebration. The praise of so many Christians united in praise and worship is tangible evidence of Christ's words in John's gospel Chapter 17...

As you enter the hall and see and hear the 250-voice choir joyfully singing praise to God, it is an enthralling build up to an exciting evening of high (and fulfilled) expectations. The uplifting signing of well known, traditional hymns and newer worship songs with over 200 churches represented will always ensure a dramatic evening of Christians together in the presence of God.
A variety of excellent speakers, powerful testimonies, inspired music and many responses to the messages all supported by a powerful supporting ministry team provide you with an exhilarating evening for all ages and church backgrounds. The joy of the occasion encourages everyone to invite neighbours, friends, relations and colleagues to come and experience this wonderful event, which lifts on high the name of Jesus.
